Sountrack to My Life

I finally have some uninterrupted time to write this. My parents went out of town so it means I don't have anyone reading over my shoulder, asking about the sites I'm visiting. Ahh, good ol' parents.

Anyway, I don't have an IPod so I had to be a bit creative in the whole random selection process. I have close to 200 Cds so let me assure you, the results are very random. Some of the songs selected wouldn't be on my favourites' list so I think I have achieved ultimate randomness in this tag.

Nor do I have the ability to attach links to the songs so y'all will just have to look these up at the library or online or however you crazy kids find songs these days if you really want to hear them.

Here goes.....

Opening Credits - Sonata for Cello and Piano Op. 99 in F Major Johannes Brahms
- 1st movement

Waking Up - Machete Moby

First Day of School- O Fortuna from Carmina Burana Orff
(I guess it's also the first day of the Apocalypse!)

Prom - Marriage of Figaro Finale to Act II Mozart
(A nerd prom, apparently.... very fitting considering my nerdy high school experience)

Life's Okay (thanks to the help of the....) Karma Police Radiohead

Driving - Spider Web No Doubt

Falling in Love - Symphony # 5 Mvt. II Beethoven
(awww)

Breaking Up - Bizarre Love Triangle New Order
(I guess this explains why we're breaking up)

Mental Breakdown- I can't go for that (no can do) Hall and Oates

Reconciliation - Piano Concerto in G Mvt. II Ravel
(I just wish the winds could reconcile their pitch..... my recording is horrible.)

Wedding - You Can Close Your Eyes James Taylor
(and jump off a cliff)

Sex Scene - Tell It Like It Is Aaron Neville
(are you sure you want me to do that?)

Birth of Child - Music for Strings, Percussion and Celeste Mvt. II Bela Bartok
(apparently I give birth to the kid from "The Shining.")

Dance Sequence - In My Place Coldplay
(a slow dance sequence)

Flashback - Heartbeat City The Cars
(What flashback is complete without the Cars?)

Final Battle - Purple Haze (Jimi Hendrix) Kronos Quartet

Death Scene - Possession Sarah McLachlan

Funeral Song - Requiem Mvt. I Gabriel Faure
(Perfect!)

Closing Credits - Sunday Morning Maroon 5

Well, this has been fun. Thanks for the tag, Brian!

Happy Birthday Brother #1 (Charles)!
