Got my Virginia license yesterday. Despite the system taking forever to search my record (or lack of one), the DMV experience was surprisingly painless.

I'm sitting alone at a bar writing this because I find the hippie coffee shop next door that provides not-as-free-as-it-seems-wireless-access insidious. Funny how places like that are the same around the world.

We've recovered from jetlag surprisingly quickly this time around. The moop was, all things considered, an excellent traveller.

We got an old new car (2002 Honda Civic previously(x2) owned by what seems to have been a pimp, and move in to our apartment this Friday. Life in the confederacy is good.
