After a stressful time of moving and family visits, the mooper is back to being her sweet self. There were quite a few kids her age at our housewarming party this past weekend and I was struck by how mature she seems in comparison. I was extremely proud of her ability to share her toys and run around with the other kids so joyously.
I had a couple of bad runs last week that made me think I had reached the end of pregnant running, but then ran 10k on Saturday and felt pretty good. I guess that's the argument to keep going. Eventually there will be a better day:)

(My new 2010 Honda Fit - I shall call her, Lara. Isn't she beautiful? What, you think naming a car is ridiculous? People name pets, don't they? Well, aren't cars more useful?)
Hmmm.... probably not the healthiest combination, ya think?
Question: How do you get houseguests to leave? My daughter is acting like a psycho, we can't use our backyard, our garage is stinky, and we have to put up with undermining and insulting commentary. And here I was hoping to enjoy living in our new house this summer......
In better news my sweet Jetta sadly became a liability last week so we had to buy a new car. (It's a good thing she had so many other problems that triggered the engine light, cause, um, it turns out the brakes were about to fail. Phew. Dodged that bullet. Would rather not suffer death by vehicle, thank you very much.) The death of the Jetta isn't the good news, obviously, but rather the fact that we have a brand new car we won't have to worry about (hopefully!) on the heels of so many other things to worry about like, maintaining a house and, uh, having another child come into our lives. Y'know. The small stuff.
